Model BehaviorAuckland, Spring 2010
On this day, my host sister and I went out to Piha Beach, and regardless of the elements (wind and rain and cold weather), had a fun photo shoot! Luckily we found some caves so Christy, my host sister and model, and I could run into the caves when it started to rain, so our equipment wouldn’t get wet. Such a fun day of dancing on the beach!
- Nice contrast of the silhouette with the surreal looking clouds in the background.
- We found some nice caves right next to the beach to run into when it rained!
- The wind was so strong it kept knocking over our chair prop.
- I was really loving using the light and silhouettes to make a striking shot.
- We used the elements that were fighting us, to our advantage.
- A lucky moment! The only time the sun gave us a little show through the bleakness.
- Using the interesting rock walls of the caves for our own natural props.
- Ours were the only footprints on the beach today. Wonder why.
