A Pre-Departure So White

: About 20 inches was the product of our first snowstorm during Christmas.

: A friend visited me while I sat waiting for the birds to feed.

: It looks as though we are living inside of a snowglobe.

: The Des Moines River is a hot spot for many snowmobilers this time of year.

: The ferns on the rivers' edge are beautiful in the summer and winter alike.

: Gone away is the bluebird, here to stay are the Black-capped Chickadees!

Though it is a ‘Wonderful Life’ here in this ‘Winter Wonderland’ of a small town Minnesota, I am more than excited to start my new adventure in summer of New Zealand.
