However far we may feel from home, Thanksgiving gave us an opportunity to come together, to cook and eat and to share a part of our culture with Italy. IES Abroad hosted a wonderful potluck-style lunch for its students in Rome and it was a smashing success. Everyone brought a dish and students, staff, even visiting families gathered for a yummy Thanksgiving meal - complete with stuffing, apple pie, even a hand turkey or two.
