vienna killed my computerVienna, Fall 2010 - European Society and Culture
Vienna didn’t actually kill my computer, but basically right after I got home my computer died; so this is why it has taken me so long to write this last post. Fortunately, I did not have much trouble getting home. However, my flight actually was cancelled and then uncancelled, but overall delayed for about eight hours. Some of my friends that flew through London that were supposed to return back to the US on that Friday did not leave London til Wednesday. So I’ll definitely take my eight hours than be delayed for a few days.
Being back in the US has been great, but my experience abroad is definitely a part of my life that I will never forget. I spent two weeks at home in cold Chicago, but I am back in sunny San Diego right now, so not having to endure cold weather anymore is absolutely fantastic. I would honestly recommend the Vienna program to anyone. Lots of students in my program didn’t know any German before going, and they still had the time of their lives. Vienna is such an amazing and beautiful city that I cannot see anyone not loving it. As this is my last post, I guess I can’t really say Auf Wiedersehen anymore. So I guess it’s just Tschüss!
