For the first couple weeks of June, there is a celebration of the creative industries called Vivid Sydney. It is the largest lights, music, and ideas festival in the Southern Hemisphere. Circular Quay, The Rocks, and the Sydney Opera House are lit up with vivid lights and light sculptures. Throughout the festival, there are many events, such as concerts, a light sculpture exhibit, performances, and talks.
