O-Week!Sydney, Spring 2011
Before the academic year begins, UNSW holds an orientation week called O-Week. It consists of campus tours, information sessions, and tons of activities. O-Week was awesome! Because the school is massive, clubs for anything imaginable exist. During O-Week, all of the clubs and societies set up tents to recruit new members. Every time I walked through the campus during O-Week, I noticed different clubs I had not seen before. There were also hundreds of activities, games, entertainment, and free giveaways. It was a great start to my semester at the University of New South Wales!
- The University Mall was packed during O-Week with students, clubs, societies, organizations, and free stuff!
- Another game involving a large ball was played on the Quadrangle Lawn.
- More clubs and activities were located on the Quadrangle Lawn during O-Week.
- Arc, the student organization, also organizes night events during O-Week, such as Comedy Night.
- The UNSW campus is beautiful with several trees and plants.
