Home is very comfortable for me. Friends are a few miles away or on the other side of the wall. A daily routine keeps me comfortable. My parents are close by to bail me out if I get in over my head. I rarely get lost, and if I do, I just ask the person next to me. Favorite restaurants, favorite bike rides, favorite stores, favorite hang out spots, favorite coffee shops. I know where to buy anything I want. My bank account gets a boost every two weeks from work. Street signs are in my language. I recognize people at school everyday and know my way around.
I can’t wait to get comfortable in Barcelona, but the struggles along the way will be even better.
