さよなら〜

The Sayonara Party was last night.

This semester has been so fun, but it’s gone by so fast! I can’t believe it’s already over. Three months seemed like such a long time when we first came here, but now it doesn’t seem nearly long enough. I hope I’ll get to see my new friends sometime soon when we all get back to the United States.

IES hosted a party for us to all see each other, our ePals and the IES staff one more time. Host families and dorm managers were invited, as were professors and friends from other classes. We had a little talent show and some speeches from professors and staff. (I think we all understood the Japanese speeches a lot better than we would have when we first got here! I know I did.)

I’m sad to say good-bye to everyone, but this semester has just been so awesome that it’s a bittersweet feeling.
