My co-workers at GoFa invited me along to their end of the year party, and it was a lot of fun! We went to a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that I never would have been able to find on my own - let alone order in, since the menu was entirely in Japanese and mostly kanji. This was not a touristy restaurant, so it was a fun adventure.

Mostly they served sashimi, raw fish. I ate the dishes recommended to me by those sitting around me, and most of it was pretty good! More things I never would have tried on my own, but definitely worth the experience.

Working at GoFa was a great time, and I’m sad to have it end. I learned a lot about Japan, and about myself. I’m excited to be going to an event to see the author/artist of one of my favorite manga in a week or so, and for the opportunity to see my coworkers one more time.
