The streets of the Albayzin are very small and skinny. It is like a labyrinth, it's so easy to get lost!

This was one of the views while hiking in the Alpujarra, in the Sierra Nevada mountains
I have just spent my first couple weeks in Granada, and I cannot think of a better place to study. The city is busy, but very compact, so we can walk almost anywhere without too much trouble. All of the buildings hold so much history, I can’t wait to start my Islamic Art and Architecture class so that I can learn more about the history of these places. We traveled to the Alpujarra, in the Sierra Nevadas, last weekend for a hike which was beautiful. This weekend we are visiting Sevilla and Ronda, so my next post will probably include pictures from that excursion. I am finally starting to feel at home here, and I am excited to see where the next four months take me.
