So being a foreigner in China comes with it’s own set of adjustments. It takes a little time to get used to people staring at you. Mostly, I think people are just curious to know where you are from. If you have blond or red hair, you may even be asked for your picture. It is also not too uncommon for people to randomly come up and ask you various English related questions. I know a few of my classmates have been asked if they could be tutors. The other day, I was standing at a bus stop with some friends when a random person came up to us asking for some translation help. I still have no idea what he was trying to say….
