Food On Our MindsSydney, Spring 2012
Recently, Maile and I have been cooking a LOT. We probably have been spending more time shopping for groceries and cooking than studying, but it’s been so worth it! We’re always thinking of new and creative recipes & Maile always seems to be on her computer looking at food blogs 24/7…Even some of our housemates liked our food so we’ve been making dinners a few times a week for them..here’s a few meals we’ve remembered to take pictures of!
- legit enchiladas made from legit mexicans
- ingredients for chicken enchiladas
- pasta salad
- slow cooked rosemary chicken with rosemary potato crisps & bok choy
- oven baked tofu in a tomato bowl topped with pesto/parmesean breadcrumbs
- pesto/parmesean breadcrumbs on salmon fillet with sweet potato fries & kale
- fried tofu with quinoa, bok choy, and beans
- fresh out of the oven
- Maile putting it all together
- Salmon wrapped in filo with bok choy and sweet potato fries!
- cornflake crusted french toast with bacon, bananas, whipped cream & canadian maple syrup
- cornflakes dipped in white & dark chocolate & peanut butter
- Japanese sweet bread with a touch of breadcrumbs filled with sugar & butter
- lava puds
- lava mud cakes
- tim tam slams!!!! (& anzac biscuits)
