InnsbruckVienna, Spring 2009
Located in Tirol, the beautiful Alpine Bundesland situated in the west of Austria, Innsbruck has a rich medieval history, and its popularity as a ski destination has made it the two-time host (’64 and ’76) of the Winter Olympics. Directly within the Alps, the juxtapositions between mountain ranges and carefully preserved architecture, particularly Rococo and medieval, make for some stunning scenery.
