Diada de San Jordi & ScotlandBarcelona, Spring 2012

One of the last experiences I had in Barcelona was la Diada de San Jordi or St. George’s Day. It is a Catalan tradition where the men receive books and the women flowers. It was a really lovely experience and everyone seems to really enjoy the holiday.
For my last weekend abroad I went to Glasgow, Scotland to visit a friend. It was not Barcelona, but it was a lot of fun and totally different from the other places I had visited.
