An Experience in BratislavaVienna, Spring 2011
I took the opportunity to travel with the Sustainability class to Bratislava. We visited the dams of the Danube and the city of Bratislava. It was so cute and European and perfect, I could hardly believe it was a real place.
- A dilapidated building in Bratislava.
- Some of the Bratislava architecture.
- The narrow streets of Bratislava with the Bratislavský hrad, or Pressburg Schloss in the background.
- More narrow Bratislava streets.
- The Nový Most, or New Bridge over the Danube.
- Kayakers on the Bratislava Canoe Slalom.
- The main pedestrian street of Bratislava.
- One of the powerhouses around the dams of the Danube.
- Stained glass in the Gothic St. Martin’s cathedral.
- The Jewish memorial of bratislava.
- Spring has arrived in Bratislava!
- The road between Bratislava and Vienna is lined on both sides by thousands of sustainable windmills.
