Ready or not, here I come.Vienna, Spring 2010
- This is my friend Oshen. She came over to say goodbye and we snapped some shots together on our Nikons.
- Some geese above my backyard that thankfully I won’t have to deal with in Vienna :)
- It snowed this winter. I’m used to the cold, but not the snow, which apparently they get a lot of in Vienna.
- Bought this awesome crazy hat for Vienna and can’t wait to wear it a ton!
I remember a few months ago when I said, “Two months until I leave for Vienna and before I know it I’ll be saying, ‘I’m leaving for Vienna today’” and well.. I guess that was true because I’m leaving today. I don’t know if I’m prepared, I don’t know what to expect, and to be honest I don’t really know how I feel- nervous, excited, happy, anxious? Perhaps a combination of these. My packing is done, I’ve said goodbye to my friends at school and a few of my friends from home. I’ve pretty much got all the prepping done and now and all that’s left to do is wait a few more hours, load my bags in the car, head to the airport, fly out and hope for the best. I’ll miss all of my friends, my family, PLU, The frisbee house, crummy UC dinner food, T-Stad, and so much more-but I’m sure I’ll be having such a good time it won’t matter. Auf Wiedersehen Washington, Hallo Wien!
