Rachel Sekine a junior studying at Indiana University participating in the IES Tokyo Language Intensive Program. She is majoring in East Asian Languages and Cultures, Political Science, and Criminal Justice. While studying abroad, Rachel hopes to better her communication skills and embrace her Japanese heritage (her father was born and raised in Tokyo). She is excited to be able to experience day-to-day life in Tokyo and cannot wait for all the adventures that await her overseas. After graduating from Indiana University, she plans to go to law school in Portland, Oregon, to pursue a career as an animal rights lawyer.
