Baking Class
Every week IES posts a “question of the week” and if you answer it correctly you can win some great prizes. This past week I took a shot at it and won a baking class! I was overjoyed to get the opportunity to bake in a French bakery, and it turned out to be a great experience.

Paris Cemeteries
It sounds strange that a cemetery is a tourist attraction but Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in the 20th arrondissement is one of the most visited places in Paris. It houses the graves of a handful of very well known people including: Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Édith Piaf and many more.

Things to do in Paris on a Sunday: The Marais
Many things are closed on Sundays to respect everyone’s right to a day of rest. Fortunately many shops and restaurants in the Marais, an area in the 4th arrondisseement, are open! If you’re willing to brave the crowds it can be a great Sunday activity.

Paris At Sunset
There’s really nothing more beautiful than a Paris sunset. I’ve been lucky enough to catch it from the Pont Neuf twice, and my goal is to see as many as possible.
