The End of the Road
Sitting in snowy Minnesota, jet-lagged and catching up on all the holiday preparations I missed, this past month already seems more than a lifetime away.

Darjeeling by the Cup
Our trip to Darjeeling before finals week consisted of a lot of wandering, a lot of shopping, a lot of street food, and a LOT of tea.

Goan Wild
What a fantastic mid-term break. Sun, sand, salt, sunsets, sunrises… it really doesn’t get any better. In between all the outings we were taken on (to churches, temples, museums and a spice farm) we spent every spare minute on the beach by day and hitting the town by night.

In only ten days, we’ve been treated to one class field trip, two lizards in our kitchen, and three separate holidays.

Streets and Side Alleys
The very typical, touristy photos from my last post stand in stark contrast to these, the snapshots taken from our bus as we drove to and from Fatehpur Sikri and around Agra.
-
temples and tombs
This past weekend has been incredibly eventful, as it was our first field trip out of Delhi to the single most well-known place in India: the Taj Mahal.
-
swept away
Delhi is a city impossible to capture in pictures.
-
the battle of extremes
Maybe my aunt had the best idea in the field of advice-giving …“Have a wonderful trip! Also, buy some Lomotil.”
