Melissa Thomas London Direct Enrollment, Spring 2011

Melissa Thomas is a junior at Penn State University majoring in Public Relations and double-minoring in International Studies and Sociology. She will be studying abroad at City University in London this Spring. At Penn State, Melissa is a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the National Society of Leadership and Success. In her spare time Melissa enjoys spending time with her sorority sisters, reading, and surfing in the summer. She traveled to England in 8th grade and is excited to return to further explore London and surrounding countries. While studying abroad Melissa hopes to gain a deeper understanding of England’s history, meet and converse with locals, and travel as much as possible!

  So, I have been back in the U.S. for 6 days and I want to leave already. After living in London for 4 months and then returning home to my usual routine, I soon realized why I love London so much.

  The title is not an exaggeration. I had never heard of Lagos before I went, but I am telling you that if you love beaches, then you need to go here. Lagos is everything I could ever ask for in a vacation and more.

  I first visited Sevilla in early February and all I can say is WOW because it was so different this time around. Right when I stepped off the plane, I immediately felt like I was in Florida…and it was 8:45pm!
