Lauren Anderson Melbourne, Fall 2011

Lauren Anderson is a junior psychology major at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. At Jewell, Lauren gives tours to prospective students, is active in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and sings in both Chapel Choir and Glee Club. In her free time, Lauren enjoys going to concerts, flying kites, and spending time in downtown Kansas City. She is looking forward to immersing herself in Australia’s culture – eating exotic food, exploring the landscape, interacting with the wildlife, and soaking up city life. Lauren has dreams of working with marine mammals in Australia, and she hopes her semester Down Under will bring her experience and connections to make her dream a reality.

  I arrived back home five days ago, which feels more like five months. I’ve finally been able to claw myself out of the deep pit of dispair that is jet lag, and get to the computer to reflect on my experience, share some lessons I’ve learned, and list my top ten moments from the past five months.
