Kristina Houser rss Siena, Spring 2011

Kristina Houser is a junior at the University of Missouri – Columbia where she is pursuing degrees in magazine journalism and English with an emphasis in non-fiction creative writing. At MU, Kristina works as a reporter at the Columbia Missourian. During the summer of 2009, Kristina worked at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, and this past summer she worked as a camp counselor in Van, Texas. Kristina, who is originally from Austin, Texas, enjoys reading, writing, photography and snow skiing. She will be participating in the IES Siena program in Italy this spring where she will be taking various humanities courses. Kristina hopes she will be able to experience many new things that help to expand her worldview and develop her writing skills.
