James Gleaton

Christchurch, Spring 2009

My name is James Gleaton, and I am a fifth year senior at Texas Christian University about to participate in the IES Abroad Christchurch, New Zealand program. I am currently pursuing two degrees with majors in Biology, Chemistry, and Math with a minor in Business. I was first introduced to Christchurch after having two different roommates study abroad there for a semester, and after a couple of years of planning, it’s almost here! My outside of the class to do list is endless – surfing, participate in the Haka, rugby, scuba off the Great Barrier Reef, visit Australia, the food, and whatever other new thing there is to try. With so much to see and do, it’s going to be a new adventure every day!
