My name is Ellie Nichols and I am currently a sophomore soon to be junior at Skidmore College. I'm from Denver, Colorado and have grown up in and around the Colorado Rockies. Growing up I got to explore a lot of the world but this is my first time in New Zealand. Back in the Sates, I'm a peer mentor and a part of a variety of on campus clubs. When I'm home I love to snowboard, play guitar and make films with my older brother.

  Prior to starting classes I decided to packback around the South Island of New Zealand. I went to a music festival, saw some lord of the rings sites, went on many hikes and had a really great time. What a beautiful country…I’m so excited to be studying here!
