Virginia Bland 
Arles, Summer 2010
Born and raised in South Carolina, Virginia is a Junior International Affairs and French double major at Wagner College in New York City. She hopes to go to law school for human rights law following her graduation and work for a developing, French-speaking nation. She also enjoys art history and is ecstatic to be living in a city that was the setting for masters such as Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh. She is very excited to be living in Arles for the summer and hopes to become more fluent in the French language and enjoy French cuisine and culture.
