Bis später, Berlin!
I miss Berlin so much, but I need to keep telling myself I’ll be back. I NEED to go back. I owe that city so much and I know I’ll spend even more time there in the future. But for now, bis später Berlin. Danke für alles!

A Birthday Abroad.
I started my 21st birthday in a club in Amsterdam with my best friend Mari. Mari’s studying abroad in Amsterdam (also on IES) and I knew I really wanted to spend my birthday with her.

This is a video I wanted to make all semester, but I’m glad I waited until the end to actually make it. It’s scenes of most everything I love about Berlin, with a large part being the amazing people I met at IES.

Hamburg with Helen.
A couple weeks ago I visited a German girl that I met on a Megabus in America. Her name was Helen and she invited me to visit her in Hamburg when I came to Germany.

The moral of this story? Take a Megabus because you’ll meet your next best friend. Maybe.

Oktoberfest: Der dritte und letzte Teil.
Oktoberfest is said to be the most horribly touristy thing you can do in Germany with no cultural merit. I mean, yes. Of course it is. But it’s also the absolute most fun you can ever have- hands down.

My first two weeks in Berlin have literally flown by. The first week was a blur of confusion and now we’re finally settled in and enjoying life in Germany!

I’ve been hardcore procrastinating on all preparations for studying abroad in Germany because (here’s my last admission) I’m slightly terrified. Nay, very terrified.
