Reflections from Home
Looking back, my very last day was hysterically Moroccan in the best and worst ways.

Art Adventures Around Morocco
Don’t underestimate Morocco’s ability to surprise you.

A weekend in the Middle Atlas mountains.
Though I think many went into this weekend trip a little hesitant as to what we would find; I had the most beautiful, relaxing weekend, enjoying a little piece of a simpler lifestyle up in the scenic mountainside.

Medina Life
Though I’m sure to my friends back home, study abroad life appears adventurous and exciting every second of the day compared to studying in their school dorms; even life in Rabat can become routine.

The largest mosque in Africa & Red Light Green Light: A two week recap.
It’s hard to sum up 2 whole weeks in one post when I feel like I could write a post about each day, but with so many experiences to be had and the leftover time being used for Arabic homework and sleep (…mostly sleep), it’s hard to keep up with documenting all the memories!

Eight passport stamps later and I’m back in Rabat!
I’m currently back at home enjoying my last evening of break before the last 7 weeks begin, although I’m so sad to see this break come to a close as Israel was one of the most amazing countries and seeing my parents was a wonderful treat.

What better way to renew a visa then a trip to Spain?
Spring Break has finally begun and there’s no better way to start it off then a little sangria and tapas (oh bacon, how I have missed you!) around Southern Spain. After living in Barcelona for a summer a few years back, there’s something so peaceful to me about the Spanish way of life.

How to make the most out of this crazy ride.
It’s amazing to me the places you can find yourself in life. That feels like an entire lifetime ago for me and while I was 17 and thinking of the future, I don’t think I ever could have imagined the places that the future would take me.

An Experience of a Lifetime.
I’m not sure if there’s any way to do justice through words or photographs to my past weekend spent in the beautiful Sahara Desert. After spending the past few weeks in the ever engaging but sometimes tiresome environment of the city, a weekend watching the sunset over the endless dunes was exactly what I needed and more.

Billionaires, Camels & Shark Meat, Oh My!
As per usual, the past few weeks have flown by. With each week bringing piles of homework and each weekend a new excursion/chance to ignore said pile of homework, we keep ourselves pretty busy.

Nothing Like Americans To Make You Feel Moroccan
Having returned from Marrakech, I feel I might have just experienced a tiny taste of the reverse culture shock awaiting me in the US when I return.

Settling into the Melting Pot of Rabat
Three weeks ago to the day, I first landed in the beautiful city of Rabat, meandered into the amazing sensory-overload that is the Medina, and while overcome with the smells, colors, cat calls (and cats), I promptly got lost. It’s hard to believe that today, this incredible, winding maze is now my home.

Morocco: The New Minnesota?
Before leaving for my semester in Rabat, I’ll admit I didn’t do much weather related research and I had little to no knowledge about winters in Morocco. What I found and what everyone else new to this semester discovered, didn’t quite meet the previous image of Morocco we had in mind.

I can’t believe it’s actually happening.
It’s 1:23 AM – 5 hours before I take off for my semester in Rabat and I don’t think I could possibly describe the jumble of emotions eating me up inside.
