Amanda Fink London Direct Enrollment, Fall 2010

My name is Amanda Fink and I am an English major at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. I hope to work as an Editor and to write when I graduate. I'm really looking forward to studying at Queen Mary. It's a larger school than I'm used to, but I'm excited to immerse myself in a different atmosphere and culture. I've always wanted to go to England (I can't wait to explore) and I'm so glad that I have this chance to go.

  Back home, I like Halloween. Here, I went a little crazy. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that this is my first holiday (not counting when I’m at college) away from home and friends back home.

  I’ve been living here now for almost two weeks, and I’m still getting used to having my own room. Back home I’d have to share a room with my roommate. It’s nice having a room to myself, but I do miss being able to talk to her.
